I am an admitted Advocate of the High Court of South Africa, as well as an author, lecturer, certified director, mentor, mediator and facilitator, with over 18 years of post-admission experience. I am passionate about community upliftment and remain actively involved in development initiatives, training, and public legal education—work that continues to strengthen my commitment to social justice. I am committed to contributing to JDF’s impactful programmes. I believe in the Foundation’s mission of empowering communities and supporting the next generation of leaders and am committed to ensuring that its initiatives remain impactful, sustainable, and responsive to the needs of humanity.

My 31 years of experience within Bay Union and the Jacana Group, and my role as the MD of Bay Union Employee Benefits has positioned me well to embrace and contribute to the impact of the Jacana Development Foundation. I relate very closely to its mission, which focusses on supporting education and youth empowerment initiatives as well as enhancing general financial literacy – a critical aspect of living life positively in today’s world. The Foundation has grown from strength to strength over its initial years of existence and I am honoured to be part of something that changes people’ lives for the better.
